Avant-Garde Salon & Spa is a premier luxury hair studio located in the heart of Coral Gables, FL. With over five decades of experience, Avant-Garde has become an iconic destination for clients of all ages seeking high-quality hair and beauty services. Renowned for its excellence in the South Florida hair industry, the salon is celebrated not only for its skilled team of stylists but also for its commitment to providing an exceptional client experience.
The owner of the salon came to me with the idea of a brand refresh, which we both decided would serve to modernize the aesthetics and identity of the salon while preserving the overall look that the loyal clientele recognizes. We focused on a neutral statement look that would attract clientele of all ages and backgrounds, as they are known for. Bold statement fonts, a neutral color palette, and an emphasis on retaining the original elements for the logo suite was the priority for this project.
